Our History

Our Background

Beatrice Loving Heart established one of the nation’s original independent service coordination initiatives serving people in numerous communities. Our service coordination initiative and passion was founded on the belief that people with disabilities could benefit from having coordinators within the service delivery system and their communities to ensure that services were tailored to meet people’s needs.

The initiative began with several nurses that had a passion for serving. Since the initiative was created in the 15 plus years, our service coordination division expanded throughout Maryland’s entire state.

We have and will always be committed to helping our participants maximize their independence and regain and maintain a more rewarding quality of life; our support covers every aspect of physical, intellectual, and emotional well-being. All of our support coordinators and clinical staff have extensive experience, and as such, we offer a valuable support system to our participants
